INDOT will fully close southbound I-65 in Jasper and White Counties Wednesday night so INDOT crews can remove a digital message board over the roadway.

The work will begin around 10 p.m. and last a couple of hours but is weather-dependent and subject to change.

The official detour around the closure will follow U.S. 24 to U.S. 231 and then back to I-65.

INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and to use caution in and around work zones
