SETH, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Boone County man accused of assaulting his wife and children during a Christmas Eve domestic dispute last year was taken into custody after deputies attempted to serve a warrant at his home this past weekend.

According to court documents, on December 24, 2024, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Prenter Road in Seth for a report of a domestic altercation in progress. When officers arrived, they found the victim and her children visibly shaken.

The victim told deputies her husband, Curtis Doss, had been drinking most of the day and became violent after she asked him to leave to avoid a fight, as the family was preparing to open Christmas presents.
