WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Road Closures continuing into this morning could affect commutes in Watertown.

Flower Avenue West will be closed for water service upgrades between Ives Street and Holcomb Street. The work will start at 8:30 AM, and the road is expected to reopen by 4 PM.

Academy Street will be closed for sewer work between Indiana Avenue South and Pleasant Street South. The work will start at 8 AM, and the road is expected to reopen by 4 PM today. Street parking in the area is also prohibited, and vehicles parked there while work is being done will be towed at the owner’s expense.

The same section of Academy Street will be closed on Wednesday as well.
