ST PAUL, Minn. — A St. Paul man is facing charges after being accused of making a TikTok post threatening U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.
According to documents filed in Minnesota District Court on Oct. 16, Tyler Avalos is accused of interstate transmission of a threat to injure the person of another, stemming from an alleged post offering a $45,000 reward for Bondi "DEAD OR ALIVE (PREFERABLY DEAD)."
The alleged post also shows a red dot and crosshairs in the middle of Bondi's forehead.
Prosecutors said authorities were first made aware of the social media post after another TikTok user reported it for "Imposing a hit on Pam bondi for $45,000 posting it on tiktok ..."
That's when, according to court documents, the FBI tracked the user account to a mobile device allegedly owned by Aval
