As we start our day, we're keeping a close eye on the weather system that's moving through our region. We've got some areas of fog and drizzle this morning, but we're expecting showers to begin developing this afternoon and then transition into a period of steady rain that will linger through Wednesday. We're forecasting an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain across much of our area.

Temperatures will remain unseasonably cool through the weekend, with highs generally staying in the mid-50s to low-60s, and overnight lows dipping into the mid-to-upper 30s by Friday morning. After Thursday, we should see drier weather with sunshine making a return by Friday, though a few light rain showers might sneak in for Saturday night into Sunday.
