Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence drew some scalding criticism from team color radio commentator Carl Banks after Sunday’s 38-20 loss to the Eagles .
Speaking on the Bleav Network , Banks shared his assessment of the pass rusher, who hasn’t had a full sack since Week 7 of last season.
“Dexter Lawrence,” said Banks, a two-time champion with the Giants. “Nobody respects you anymore. Nobody. Your opponents do not. The pre-injury Dexter is not there, in their heads. They don’t respect you.”
Lawrence dislocated his left elbow in last season’s Thanksgiving Day game against the Cowboys. He missed the final five games of the season.
Fans have not seen the same level of dominance this year from Lawrence, who is one of the best interior defensive linemen in the NFL.
