It took a little bit more time than expected, but we finally got the touchdown celebration we have all been waiting for. On Monday night, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes found his favorite target, Travis Kelce, for a touchdown with 3:20 left to play in the third quarter against the Washington Commanders. The score gave the Chiefs a two-touchdown lead over the visiting squad, and gave Kelce his first touchdown since a loss to Jacksonville on October 7.

After this reception -- which was the Chiefs record-tying 83rd of his career -- the tight end celebrated with a nod to his fiancé Taylor Swift. Kelce broke out a portion of the viral dance from Swift's "The Fate Of Ophelia," the lead single off of the 14-time Grammy winner's latest album, The Life Of A Showgirl.

Swifties have thought that Kelce could have pulled out the moves against the Jags, the first game after The Life Of A Showgirl released, but the touchdown came as result of a dramatic play that didn't lend itself to much of a celebration.

This one was worth the wait, thought.
