RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas (ValleyCentral) —The second week of early voting is underway, and people across Cameron and Hidalgo counties continue to cast their ballots.
In Cameron County, 896 people voted throughout the 21 polling locations. The Brownsville Public Library had over 200 attendees, while the Harlingen Cultural Arts Center had over 100.
Within the 29 polling locations in Hidalgo County, 1,567 people cast their ballots, with 12 of them being cast through mail. The Elections Annex Building had the highest voter turnout, with a total of 349 voters.
Early voting will run through Oct. 31. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.
