Fangoria has launched “ First In Fright : The Fangoria Compendium,” a limited-edition book and digital archive project that will invite fans to preserve nearly 50 years of horror history. The project will be available on Kickstarter.
“First In Fright” will detail Fangoria’s history since 1979, curating stories from the magazine archives alongside modern day commentary, unreleased stories and rare behind-the-scenes photos. The book will feature 300 pages of full-color images, analysis pieces and interviews from diverse voices in the horror space. The project will unite past and present Fangoria editors, journalists, artisans and horror filmmakers together to explore the genre’s history and evolution.
The book includes exclusive contributions from Joe Bob Briggs, Sandy King, Ernest Dick
