Samsung 's tri-folding phone may actually be real, folks.

The rumored device was shown in the flesh by Samsung at the K-Tech Showcase event ahead of the APEC Summit (via Chosun / Digitaltrends ).

As expected, the phone unfolds vertically twice, extend from a fairly regular-sized smartphone into a decent-sized tablet.

As is often the case with these early teasers, the audience that was fortunate enough to see the phone was not allowed to touch it or view it up close as it was placed in a glass display case.
