DISCUSSION: A cold front will move through East Texas later today, bringing a chance for showers and storms. Behind the front, northwest winds of 20 mph with gusts over 30 mph will move in along with clear skies and cooler temperatures. By Wednesday morning, low temperatures will fall into the 40s. Wednesday afternoon will be much cooler with highs in the 60s and wind gusts of up to 40 mph at times. Dry and cool weather will continue through the rest of the week, including on Halloween. By the weekend, highs will climb back into the 70s.
