Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay on Tuesday (October 28, 2025) announced the constitution of a 28-member executive committee to coordinate the day-to-day affairs of the party.

In a statement, Mr. Vijay said the new executive committee will work under his guidance. The committee includes the top leadership of the party — N. Anand, general secretary; Aadhav Arjuna, general secretary — election campaign management; K. G. Arunraj, general secretary — policy and propaganda; C.T.R. Nirmal Kumar, joint general secretary; A. Rajasekar, headquarters secretary; and A. Rajmohan, C. Vijayalakshmi and M. Arul Prakasam, deputy general secretaries.
