Eagles trade idea from ESPN takes Philly from 2/3 to fully solved
The Philadelphia Eagles are two-thirds of the way to a perfect cornerback room, ESPN's Ben Solak wrote in a new article on Tuesday.
Before the Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline, Solak thinks they need to get the rest of the way there.
"With second-year studs in Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean , the Eagles are two-thirds of the way to an elite cornerback room," Solak wrote.
The problem is that Mitchell on the outside and DeJean in the slot can't account for the other boundary position.
"The other outside spot has been hammered," Solak writes. "Out of 76 qualifying corners, veteran Adoree' Jackson leads the league with a 25.7% target rate per coverage snap. His coverage success rate is 66th;
