CHARLES TOWN - What began as a small local art fundraiser has brought together four local businesses, coming together on Saturday across Charles Town for the annual Art Heist, an effort to give local artists a platform to sell their art.

Now in its third year, the Art Heist brought together four galleries and nonprofits, including the Firehouse Gallery, Spotlight on Main, and Pour Choices along with Happy Retreat. Organized by the Jefferson Arts Council (JAC), the event invited visitors to explore exhibits, purchase local artwork, and even “steal” a deal or two in keeping with the playful heist theme.
