A man arrested on suspicion of killing a 20-year-old in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood earlier this month is on the run after being mistakenly released last week from jail in California.
Isaiah Jamon Andrews, 20, from Kent, was released from the Martinez Detention Facility in Contra Costa County in the San Francisco Bay Area on Oct. 22, the local sheriff’s office said.
He was being held on a felony warrant for a homicide in Seattle along with local charges and a juvenile warrant out of Sacramento, the sheriff’s office said in a social media post.
Andrews was arrested in the killing of a 20-year-old man in Northgate on Oct. 15. The man was found dead outside of Hotel Nexus Seattle with a gunshot wound to his chest.
