A British music icon - renowned for his five-decade-long career - is set to arrive in Yorkshire next summer, bringing two "unforgettable" performances. The "legendary" Paul Weller has revealed two massive outdoor summer concerts in Yorkshire - gracing the stage in Scarborough and Halifax.

Recognised for 80s hits such as 'Shout to the Top' and 'The Eton Rifles', supporters will be delighted to learn that Weller is scheduled to perform in June next year. Throughout a career stretching five decades, Paul Weller's compositions are interwoven into the fabric of British music.

His catalogue encompasses 28 studio albums – eight of which have reached number one in the UK charts – alongside numerous BRIT and Ivor Novello Awards, reports Yorkshire Live .
