SHREVEPORT, La. — Highland Clinic is opening its doors to the next generation of medical professionals through its Medical Discovery and Understanding (MDU) program, which gives qualifying local students the chance to shadow physicians and experience the realities of a career in medicine.
During a recent interview, Jan Elkins spoke with Madison Knight of Highland Clinic about the program, which allows students to observe doctors in both clinical and surgical environments.
