ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man has been arrested by the New York State Police after he allegedly used an excavator to damage a home during a dispute.
New York State Police said they were called to a residence on Upper Bean Hill Road in the Town of Groveland on Monday at 3:33 p.m. to respond to a domestic dispute with criminal mischief.
An investigation by responding troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation from SP Geneseo found a man, identified as 37-year-old Matthew P. Patridge of Nunda, had operated "a large excavator" that belonged to a family business and driven it into the residence. At the time, the home was occupied by a 62-year-old woman and an 11-year-old boy.
