ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Officials have released new details regarding an investigation into information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect or suspects involved in the attempted homicide of a U.S. Postal Service employee in Rochester.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information regarding the incident, which happened just after midnight on October 16 outside the USPS Jefferson Processing Distribution Center at 1335 Jefferson Road.

Authorities said a blue Kia Sportage was used to flee the scene. The vehicle had been reported stolen the previous morning, around 11 a.m. on Oct. 15, and was later found on Oct. 19 around 9 a.m.
