BELMONT, N.C. — Three juvenile males have been arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery in a shopping center parking lot in Belmont , police said.

Officers with the Belmont Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at approximately 7 p.m. on October 23 in the parking lot of the Belmont Town Center Complex, located at 915 South Point Road.

The three juveniles approached a victim in the parking lot and took property, according to police. Two of the suspects reportedly displayed firearms during the incident before all three fled the area on foot.

Through investigative efforts, all three suspects were identified and taken into custody, police said. The names of the juveniles will not be released due to their ages.

No injuries were reported.
