Arizona and 24 other states are suing the Trump administration to prevent a funding cliff that could leave 855,000 Grand Canyon State residents without help to buy groceries.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture notified states that it would not have money to pay benefits for the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, commonly known as food stamps, in November because of the federal government shutdown.
