QUEBEC — Saying Quebec’s new doctor remuneration bill is a clear violation of their fundamental rights, the head of the province’s medical specialists announced Tuesday they are taking the government to court.

Standing in front of a group of 20 medical specialists who wore tape over their mouths to appear gagged, Dr. Vincent Oliva, president of the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec (FMSQ), launched a blistering attack on the government for imposing the law.
