Luke 19:7 All who saw it began to grumble and said, "He has gone to be the guest of one who is a sinner."

We have all considered ourselves to be a little more righteous than others at some point in our lives, but this attitude recorded by Luke should make all of us cringe. Anyone who would grumble because Jesus chooses to be the guest of one who is a sinner needs to take a good, long, look in the mirror. If we welcome Jesus into our homes, churches and lives, we had better get used to spending time with “sinners” ourselves.
