BOWMAN, N.D. — The Richardton-Taylor Raiders finished the regular season losing five straight games, and did not pick up a win through the month of October. They were swept in three of those matches and were coming off a close five-set loss against Center-Stanton.

However, postseason hopes were still alive. But they had to get past the Bowman County Bulldogs in a play-in game, a team the Raiders had lost to during this losing skid. However, Richardton-Taylor put those struggles aside and put together one of its most complete games of the season, earning a straight-set win to punch their ticket to the District 7 Tournament.
