BEMIDJI — Beltrami County recently announced updates regarding the Bemidji Transfer Station, Blackduck Transfer Station and Beltrami County Demolition Landfill site, all operated by the county.

The Bemidji Transfer Station is nearly finished with construction, with pavement work that began on Friday, Oct. 24, and concluded on Monday. According to a release, the station should be operating with some normalcy as the concrete work continues to settle.

For the Blackduck Transfer Station, the Beltrami County Solid Waste Department is set to begin installation of new concrete and an awning in front of the compactors soon. Construction is expected to last until mid-November, the release said.
