The North Daviess Cougar football team continues to advance in the IHSAA Class A football tournament. The Cougs advanced to the second round of the tourney with a dominant win over Perry Central, 54-6. The win sets up a Friday night match at Thurman Brown Field on Friday with 6-4 Tecumseh.

The Cougars (9-1) are looking for their 10 th win for only the second time ever. A win against Tecumseh would put them in the sectional finals against the winner of Springs Valley and defending state champion Providence and would be the second straight year ND was in the sectional final.
