COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M offensive coordinator Collin Klein knows a thing or two about a Heisman Trophy race.

After all, the former Kansas State quarterback finished third in 2012, behind Aggie quarterback Johnny Manziel and Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o, earning a trip to New York as a finalist.

So, when asked if current A&M quarterback Marcel Reed should be in the conversation for this year’s award, the coach didn’t skip a beat.

“Absolutely,” he said.

After leading the Aggies to a 49-25 win over No. 20 LSU, notching A&M’s first win in Tiger Stadium since 1994, Reed was the biggest mover in Las Vegas odds to win the award, moving from +1100 to +700, according to ESPN.com.
