(KBTX) -After 33 seasons at the helm of Texas A&M soccer program, serving as the program’s only head coach, G Guerrieri announced his retirement Tuesday, according to a release from the athletic department.
Guerrieri’s contract, which was extended in 2022, was set to expire in March. The Aggies’ season ended Sunday with a 3-0 loss to Kentucky, wrapping up a 5-7-5 overall season and a 2-6-2 conference record. They failed to make the Southeastern Conference Tournament and will miss the NCAA Tournament for the second time in four years.
