MADISON (WKOW) — A Madison police officer who was hurt in a car crash during a police chase in McFarland continues to recover from his injuries.
Officer Ryan Kimberley could be released from the hospital soon to continue his physical rehabilitation from home, according to a social media post from Capital K9s .
Kimberley and his K9, Freddie, were hit by a flat bed tow truck driven by Christopher Brugger Jr. , 36, on Sept. 27, according to police.
K9 Freddie visited Kimberley last Friday at the rehab facility where Kimberly is recovering.
Kimberley hopes to be released within the next week or so, according to Capital K9s. He will continue his physical therapy at home and as an outpatient for several more months.
