PITTSBURGH (WTAJ) -- DeShon Elliott will miss Sunday's game against the Colts after the Steelers safety suffered a scary knee injury in the team's loss to Green Bay. Mike Tomlin categorized the injury as a hyperextended knee.

It's the second time this year Elliott is hurt after a week one knee injury cost him two games. Elliott has 38 tackles, a sack and interception this year. Pittsburgh is working out safeties Vonn Bell and Eddie Jackson Tuesday as it tries bolster the maligned pass defense. The team already added safety Julius Peppers to fill Elliott's void early in the year.

Elliott, guard Isaac Seumalo, and defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale were injured against the Packers.
