DULUTH, Minn.– With SNAP benefits on pause, Duluth’s Best Bread has quickly stepped up to the plate.
Starting on Tuesday November 4th, the bakery will be distributing free pastries and bread to support children in need.
No IDs are necessary, but children 12 and under must be present for this program.
This opportunity is for dine-in guests only, and all that is needed is mentioning “DBB Kids Special” at the counter.
The idea was inspired by similar efforts being done around the country.
As for the products, it’ll vary with whatever they have in stock.
Though no gluten free pastries will be available, the co-owner says, he’s proud to be doing their part to help out the community.
