Pulwama, Oct 28: Several cases of burglary were reported in Bandzoo village of Pulwama, where thieves targeted around seven to eight families during the intervening night of October 27 and 28. The incidents occurred in Mir Mohalla and Tengpora localities, leaving residents shocked and distressed.

According to locals, thieves broke into multiple houses and decamped with valuables, household goods, and other items during the night hours. The villagers have demanded swift police action to identify and nab the culprits.

“The thieves stole goods from the houses and ran away. We urge the authorities to take strict action and ensure such incidents don’t happen again,” said Mir Towseef, a local resident.
