Boston restaurateur Brian Piccini announced Tuesday that his acclaimed steakhouse Boston Chops is for sale. Piccini, who owns Boston Urban Hospitality — the restaurant group behind Boston Chops Downtown, Boston Chops South End, Deuxave, and dbar — said he plans to focus on a new development in Weston called The Woods.

According to a press release, Piccini says the nature-inspired dining concept will require “all of my focus, creativity, and passion.” The restaurant has cleared “major regulatory milestones” from and will begin permitting and construction.
