The Front Royal Town Council approved a rezoning request on Monday that supporters say brings the property in line with adjacent lots.
Vice Chairwoman Amber F. Veitenthal and council members Melissa A. DeDomenico-Payne, Joshua L. Ingram, H. Bruce Rappaport, R. Wayne Sealock and Glenn E. Wood voted in favor of a motion to approve an application seeking to reclassify vacant lots on Elsia Drive from C-1 Community Business District to R-3 Residential District. Mayor Lori A. Cockrell attended the meeting. The mayor votes only to break a tie.
