Warren County fire investigators say materials left too close to a heater sparked a blaze that forced three people from a house Tuesday.
Fire and rescue personnel were dispatched just before 1 p.m. Tuesday to the 100 block of East 15th Street in Front Royal for a reported house fire, according to a news release from the Department of Fire and Rescue Services. Crews arrived within five minutes and reported fire showing from the front of the residence, with three occupants outside of the house, according to the release. Firefighters started attacking the blaze from the inside but conditions forced personnel to evacuate briefly before they could continue the operation, the release states.
