Choctawhatchee has moved up to No. 1 in Class 4A in the latest FHSAA power rankings , a move that means a lot more than bragging rights.

Choctawhatchee has a power ranking of 19.804, edging past St. Augustine's 19.488. The two teams are both in Region 1, which means the top seed gets home field advantage in a potential regional championship game.
