Friends are remembering the two men killed in yesterday’s shooting at Barku Plastics as generous, joyful people who left a lasting impact on everyone who knew them.
The victims have been identified as Ivan Aldergot and Tobias Glienig, both originally from Germany. Most of their families still live overseas, but the men had built close friendships in the Cleveland community. Close

“I think we, as their loved ones, suffered a great loss,” said Alex Bratnichenko, a close friend of both victims. “But I also think the community suffered a great loss as well.”
Bratnichenko said he had known Aldergot for four years and Glienig for two. He described the shock of learning about the tragedy.
