JERSEY CITY, N.J. (PIX11) - There are seven candidates, but only one can be the next mayor of Jersey City.

In our second of two stories, we're introducing you to the candidates.

Christina Freeman

"I'm not a politician. I'm a public servant," said Christina Freeman, a Jersey City police officer of 6 years. She says she wants to attack overdevelopment by creating income-based city housing, address congestion and infrastructure needs by implementing a toll system that won't impact city residents, and bring back neighborhood watch programs.

"I am a candidate that's from the people," said Freeman. "I am you. I am your voice. I see the issues that we go through every day."
