Advocates and elected officials held a rally on the steps of City Hall Tuesday to protest the detainment of immigrants in the city and highlight their need for legal services.

There has been a recent increase in the presence of federal law enforcement in the city, including a raid on Canal Street that led to multiple arrests and an impromptu protest.

City Comptroller Brad Lander joined "The Rush Hour" on Tuesday to talk about the raid and the detainment of 16-year-old Joel Camas.
