STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A multi-vehicle collision in West Brighton Monday night sent a person to the hospital and left several cars with significant damage.

The crash was reported to the FDNY around 10:13 p.m. outside Li Greci’s The Staaten at 679 Forest Ave., according to a department spokesperson.

One person refused medical attention at the scene and another was taken to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton, the spokesperson added.

The condition of the patient was not revealed by the FDNY.

Donna Long, a Grymes Hill resident, was just leaving an event hosted at The Staaten moments before the collision.
