BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The city is in the process of selling land it owns on Treeworth Boulevard to an Avon-based sports-training business.

On Oct. 20, City Council approved a letter of intent to sell the property to T3 Performance , which trains and coaches child and adult athletes in several sports.

T3 will pay the city $700,000 for the property if it passes muster after a 45-day due diligence period.

During those 45 days, T3 will investigate and survey the property and conduct tests.

According to the letter of intent, T3 would then build an athletic training center, measuring about 60,000 square feet, on the property.

The center would include an indoor turf playing field, volleyball and basketball courts and a performance training area, plus an outdoor turf field.
