MOORHEAD — A portion of Center Avenue in Moorhead will be closing for the final stage of 11th Street underpass construction.

According to a press release from the Minnesota Department of Transportation, starting Thursday, Oct. 30, Center Avenue in Moorhead will close between 10th Street and 14th Street. The road is expected to be closed through November 2026.

Also by the end of Thursday, all lanes will reopen on First Avenue, including at 10th Street and 12th Street, the release said. The north block of 11th Street will be closed into early November.

On Main Avenue, one lane in each direction will reopen by the end of Thursday to allow east and west traffic through. According to MnDOT, all lanes of Main Avenue are expected to reopen mid- to late-November.
