On the other hand, no-till farmers who read this column regularly and attend our no-till and soil health events will likely have some cash in their pockets at the end of the season. A difference of $50 per acre is typical for a no-tiller with cover crops compared to farmers who make three or four tillage passes before planting corn or soybeans.
