Hospitals Must Post Prices Online Under New Law
Oklahoma hospitals will be required to make their prices for all services publicly available under Enrolled Senate Bill 889.
The law requires hospitals to:
Publish a digital file of all standard charges in machine-readable formats like XML, JSON, or CSV.
Post a consumer-friendly list of at least 300 “shoppable services,” including 70 specified by federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) if provided.
