PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) said deputies teamed up with U.S. Marshals to arrest a man for threatening a woman on Monday.
PCSO said deputies responded to a home on Placita Avenue around 1:15 a.m. for a report of a man menacing a woman with a shotgun.
Upon arrival, deputies said they learned that the suspect, 45-year-old Adam Eugene Pacheco, had been in an argument with the woman that escalated. PCSO said Pacheco assaulted the woman and pointed the gun at her, threatening to shoot her.
After a period of time, deputies said the victim was able to safely exit the home, and Pacheco stayed inside.
Deputies said they ordered Pacheco to leave the home several times, but he refused.
