MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Fort Carson Fire and Emergency Services (FCFES) said firefighters from three different departments teamed up to respond to a car crash on Tuesday.
FCFES said they responded alongside Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs firefighters to a crash off of Highway 24.
According to firefighters, the vehicle was stabilized, and a patient was extracted from their vehicle and taken to a hospital - all in under 20 minutes.
"This is what mutual aid is all about; working as one seamless team to get the job done," FCFES said.
