AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Some Lago Vista residents have expressed concern to the police department about a deer that has seemingly embraced its "emo era."

The deer has been spotted "proudly wearing a hammock tangled in his antlers," according to a Facebook post from the Lago Vista Police Department, which has received a lot of calls about the deer.

"While his 'forest-core fashion' has raised some eyebrows, rest assured, he’s totally fine," the police department's post continued.

The Lago Vista Police Department checked in on the deer and consulted wildlife experts with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) to make sure the animal was OK.
