People gathered at River Bend Park on Sunday for the fifth annual Family Fall Fest, centered around preserving natural habitats and allowing space for both people and animals to thrive.
The area was bustling all afternoon with live music, arts and crafts, history tours, fall food, drinks, and more.
The event was hosted by the Save the American River Parkway Association (SARA).
"The key is really, for SARA, is to preserve the parkway in its intended natural state for recreational use and make our love of the river doesn't cause it to be overdeveloped," said Mark Berry from the association.
The event started years ago to bring attention to the land in the area, and organizers estimated there were over 500 people in attendance.
