Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (8) looks on from the sideline during the first quarter against the Chicago Bears at M&T Bank Stadium.

Lamar Jackson will return to the starting lineup on Thursday versus the Miami Dolphins for the Baltimore Ravens, and he knows the reality of the situation sits in. At 2-5 and on the precipice of a season lost, the two-time MVP made a statement this week by rearranging the team’s locker room.

No more ping pong tables. No more game consoles. No more lounging around.

“Each and every game is going to be like a win-or-go-home," Jackson told the media following Tuesday’s practice. "It's do-or-die right now, each and every week."

Although the AFC North is currently the weakest division in football, it will still be a hefty climb for Jackson and the Ravens to get back on top of a quartet they’ve dominated this past decade. After sitting out three games with a hamstring injury, the Ravens saved their season while he cheered on from the sidelines in an upset against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Jackson knows if the Ravens want to do the unthinkable, they need to take every game with the utmost importance, with no room for error.

“We have a lot of work to do,” he said. “[We have to] keep winning, keep winning, keep winning. We’re not going to have [the locker room luxuries], so keep winning. We’ll probably have them next summer or OTAs or something, but right now that’s not the focus.”
