The state’s Board of Bar Overseers has voted to issue a public reprimand for misconduct against Rachael Rollins , the former US attorney who resigned two years ago amid an ethics scandal and investigations by the Department of Justice, according to documents provided by her attorney.
The 12-member board, which oversees her law license, voted to approve the reprimand at its Oct. 14 meeting. Rollins had previously agreed to the public reprimand in documents she signed in June.
Three members dissented, rejecting the penalty “as too lenient,” according to the documents, in which Rollins’s first name was misspelled.
One board member, Ashley Hayes, recused herself from the discussion and vote, records show.
